What a free kick from David Luiz! Unbelievable! Incredible! It was the killer blow for Columbia who were slowly trying to creep back into the game in the second half. The first half belonged to the hosts. It was a fast paced and energetic first half which saw Brazil take a lead within 8 minutes. In my opinion, Brazil played their best game of this World cup tonight. Their midfield was present and instrumental, for a change. Columbia had given us some good football in this World Cup. A team not fancied at all, produced some brilliant passing and free flowing game of football all throughout the tournament till they met Selecao in the quarter finals. The odds were always against them. But well played Columbia. Thank you James Rodriguez, this World Cup will miss you! However we could have done without some many fouls in a 90 minutes match.
