What is our purpose for who we being leaders of righteousness? We who have been called to serve should serve in meekness as we proclaim the gospel of Christ with our lives we attract those who see the way we act and see the way we handle certain situations people will know that we are Christians by the fruits that we bear: this is what discipleship is all about training disciples, once a person as received Christ and has put him on in baptism they receive the spirit and they become Christians. Now to become a disciple is learning what the son teaches us in his word. In his word pertains principles that we as Christians or disciples can learn from. 1 Timothy 1 Paul writes to Timothy as he begins his missionary journey ministering to the church there at Ephesus the church is young. Paul is in prison at this time. The applications that we can take from Timothy can only help us as we as men of God grow in our relationship with God and in becoming leaders we take on the responsibilities that comes with leadership. Any form of leadership has it challenges, but through these challenges we grow as we learn to coop with certain challenges that presents themselves as obstacles in our lives. What I take from the study is a base to which I learn from Timothy as I seek to be more like Christ.
