What would Coleman Young do ? He would many times articulate the best thinking of the Negro, the Black , the African American liberation movement in the country and in Detroit on long term issues and crises , and day-to-day struggles. He especially articulated counter measures and practices to white supremacist assaults on Black people. He would articulate today the counter ideology of the media NewsFreePress2-4-7 and the tea Republicans on the socio-economic history and structure of Detroit , its Black majority population and their Americanly elected representatives. Coleman Young would say no god damn taxation without representation ; most of the money being divied up in bankruptcy is tax money paid by Detroit taxpayers, majority Black, and they are not represented in bankruptcy by officials and attorneys whom they elected.
