Whats an introvert to do? This film is a good analogy, and I can usually see where the pissed off cats are coming from more than I can relate to the invasive goofy dogs. Imagine these were people, one minding their own business and the other obliviously sticking their nose in. This is the challenge for introverts. Sometimes you get common ground, like in the end scenes, but often its a clash between irreconcilable differences. And unsociable seeming introverts who occasionally just want to be left alone right here right now are usually made out to be the bad guys. The only way to get some peace and quiet is sometimes to get your claws out..... Point being that cats and introverts are mostly quite happy doing things on their own. Not always, of course, but that this is a condition that is by far their preference in many circumstances. Cats are just built that way (for the most part and unlike most dogs). There is nothing wrong with them as cats. Can we understand introverts as also being just who they are supposed to be? Can we see that some people are better suited to quiet moments and introspection. Not always and in every situation, but enough to insure that these are things that have real value in their worlds.
