Whats on my mind? Suitcases. Symbols of lifes journey. My current one is a rolling American Tourister, black, with a battered bright yellow and green bow to distinguish it on the luggage carousel. Today I removed the love letters from my grandkids from the outside pocket. Previous bag was my youngest sons red soccer duffel. It was awesome, carried tons of stuff. He handed it over cheerfully. Before that, my old-fashioned red American Tourister matching set, which was my high school graduation gift from my parents and our next-door neighbor, Dottie Seymour, in 1967. My mom always traveled with a powder blue cosmetic kit with VME in little metal plates on the lid. It had been my Nana Ericksens (Virginia May Ericksen).
