When I look at a girl, I look at the childhood games she used to - TopicsExpress

When I look at a girl, I look at the childhood games she used to play. Dressing up a doll, Kitchen sets, Dolls marriage, building little toy homes, decorating stuff... I look at the life ahead of her and I smile, she is headed to live her dream, her best childhood games will become a life. They never told her that it wouldnt be so much fun but they told her something alright. Then, I look at what used to be a ghost-hunting-little monster-with-a ninja sword-fighting-bad guys-slinging-guns-jumping-from-roofs turning up to office in boring shades of blues. I look at how his life is going to turn and I see him moping around office, talking shit about politics, switching channels and watching his favorite sportsmen fade away... Welcome to the life of a twenty something guy. He cant cry. He cant crib. He can get a complete new wardrobe with just 13 elements. Look at his clean shaven face and the grim expressions that make him. Look at him in a party not knowing whether to laugh or just throw up. Look at him trying to find his way among men who are more experienced and are perceived better at work place. Look at him trying to keep his girlfriend interested and assure her of his commitment. Look at him growing responsibilities faster than the hair on his. Its hard to even imagine him on the bikes he once wanted to ride to hell. He is stuck there on that time sheet, in the repeating review meetings, in a race to look steady and calm, in an irony of thousand unintended puns. Where is he headed to?
