When I was a little girl, my grandparents kept bees in their backyard, and always had rows of jars of honey in their pantry. I have so many magical memories of playing in their garden amongst the boysenberry bushes and tiny apricot trees to the fairy-like sound of their musical wind chimes. My beloved grandfather passed away on September 15th, 2008. A year and a half later, I wrote a song called Windchimes & Honeybees, which was later recorded and released on my EP, Everyday Surprises.
