When I was a very, very young kid (4 maybe), before kindergarten, - TopicsExpress

When I was a very, very young kid (4 maybe), before kindergarten, we lived in an apt. with an alley behind it. We had a patio with a gate to the alley. At the end of the alley there was a 7-11 and back then they sold actual candy for a penny. I stole 2 or 3 pennies from my Moms purse and went and bought the candy. It was so good that I did once or twice more. My Mom finally caught on & I got in a lot of trouble, mostly for going into her purse without permission, which I didnt understand at the time. They were only pennies. Although, I did know that I was doing something wrong because I was sneaking. A couple of years later I was playing at my friends house and her older sister had a dollar. She was bragging about it and showing it to us etc. I was so jealous, I had never had my own dollar. I stole it and that made her cry. I felt so, so bad and was too scared to admit what I had done. The guilt was terrible. I learned my lesson and to my recollection have never stolen money from anyone ever again. I tell this story for a reason. Some of you may understand why, some may not. It really doesnt matter. Have a great day and God bless you all.
