When I was a young boy of around 5, my family and I were vacationing in Bolivia and I had fallen asleep when suddenly my father awoke me with a shock. I could tell from his facial features there was grave danger,, as he led me out of my room I heard machine gun fire in the distance and the crying of my sisters as they lay huddled in the corner of our villa,, my mother rapidly filling a napsack with supplies. We set off into the jungle where from up atop a hill we could see the soldiers torching the resort bungalow where we had rested just moments before. For 3 days we hid, rationing water and supplies until my father felt it safe to return. Upon reaching a radio my grandfather was contacted and soon a helicopter arrived with 4 of our familys personal guards. My mother and sisters and I were dropped off but my father stayed on,, many years later when I was a teenager I found out from my Uncle that father tracked the soldiers down and executed them by machete one by one. I have chosen to share this story with you today friends in the hopes it motivates you to always defend your family, even if it means eliminating those who threaten it. Your friend, -HC
