When I was growing up, we played at the park, flew kites on the beach, made sand castles, colored in our coloring books, drew pictures, jumped rope, played four square, and handball, painted, played with clay, blew bubbles, and played games like hide and seek, or tag, and board games. We even had a limit to how much television we watched per day. The list can go on forever! Nowadays, we have all these children zoned out, on their iPads or phone apps, cutting out the rest of the world. Is this how we want our kids to grow up? What happened?!
