When one reads JBs prison letters to the Osagyefo, there is not a single instant that one feels any sense of bitterness even though JB was dying and did die in detention. But when you read Dark Days in Ghana, written in exile, it is all about bitterness, bitterness, bitterness, resentment, resentment, resentmemt towards his henchmen- he feels betrayed and what not-though he himself had betrayed, exiled, imprisoned (and murdered JB) all those who had helped him to become the Osagyefo.
