When the Lord led me to Philemon this morning, which is only one chapter, I read it and re-read it and I realized that Paul was asking Philemon to take Onesimus back, Onesimus who had been such a great help to Paul, whom Paul called his son he had begotten while in jail, a prisoner of Jesus Christ (see v9 & 10). When I got to verse 15-16 the Lord spoke to my heart about the backslidden. We as saints of God are to pray for the backslidden. Pray that they come back into the Kingdom. Pray them back into the Kingdom of God! While sitting and talking with the Lord also this morning the Lord spoke to my heart to tell you. Hell is real. Hell is real and that no sin will enter into Heaven. Backsliders that do not return to the Lord, who do not repent of their sins and turn their hearts to the Lord and seek to live holy to God the Father will find themselves in Hell at the end, whether the end is death as we know it or when Jesus comes to Judge the earth. If there is anyone that you know that is in a backslidden state, admonish them to turn their hearts and mind back to the Lord, our God is merciful and gracious The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. Psalm 103:8. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. Psalm 145:8. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. Are you in a backslidden state? Turn your heart and mind and soul back to the Lord. Do it now. Dont wait, none of us know the time or the hour that we will be required and our time on this earth will be up. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: All will stand before the judgment seat of Christ For we all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10. Please do not allow the enemy to deceive you. Dont allow the enemy to tell you that the sin that you do is okay, God understands that you are flesh. Our God the Father commands Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. 1 Peter 1:15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Dont let the enemy trick you conversation is living, conversation means in your life. We must pray the backslidden into the kingdom and we must touch the sinner and tell them about Christ and admonish them to come to the cross, to come to Jesus, NOW is the time!
