When the world starts weighing heavy on me, and I get to thinking that nothing good can come out of it anymore, I go to my PIF page, and am literally STAGGERED at the overwhelming response to an emergency help request. Donations, offers of help, are coming in from literally all over Auckland right now. We are good people. Most of us shudder at the thought of another human being, hurting someone they are supposed to love and protect. That people who are total strangers, are so very willing to step up, and help to clothe, feed and house someone who desperately needs a helping hand, it restores my faith in humanity. It really does.
