When we were leaving for church this morning there was a kitten laying on the sidewalk with its head tucked under her body...when we returned the kitten was in the same position..as I walked closer...the kitten was breathing heavy...panting....so I took my foot and nudged it..it barely moved..it thought the kitten was dying...sooo.....as I approached the kitten to move it I discovered that the kittens head was stuck in the hole of the cover that covered the water meter....the neighbor across the street came over....we were able to remove the whole cover....as and patiently maneuver the kittens head back through the hole....that kitten was so ecstatic...it flew across the street...i do not care for cats...but am glad that I was able to save that one....God Id good....
