When we were playing the very first live shows of Need back in 2006, we decided to jam a rather twisted cover version of Savatages Jesus Saves due to our deep love for this amazing band. It quickly became a regular in our shows. When we were recording our second album, Siamese God, in 2008 we decided to record this version but because we wanted to keep this rough feel the cover had, we thought wed recorded it live in the studio. With only a couple of overdubs/edits here and there, here it is. It was never released in any of our cds, hope you enjoy it! Fun fact: We played our version for Jon Oliva in one of the shows we did together in Athens in 2008 and his first reaction was What did you do to it??? hehe. However when we toured with JOP in 2010, Jon came and asked us to play the song live in our show in Z7 in Switzerland and he was side-stage making funny faces and trying to distract us.That was a fun night! https://youtube/watch?v=nia7e4tQT4E
