While autumn was a season of loss for us - Shelby, Pappy Mertz - we celebrate the arrival today of our newest family member, Milkshake. Her adoption from the SPCA has been in the works for several days, and today we were finally able to bring her home. It is important to note that Milkshake is not a Christmas present, nor a replacement for Shelby. She is a cat that we chose carefully at the SPCA, and that Molly researched online. She is part domestic shorthair, and part Bengal - I will post a photo here, and you can see her fascinating stripes/spots mix.
