While the Nation of Islam infiltrates and overtakes much of the Middle East and Europe, we must ask ourselves, “Could America experience the same fate?” Commentator Pat Buchanan issued a stern warning Tuesday: “There is a growing confidence in the Islamic world that the future belongs to them… Western peoples are dying, as Muslim populations are exploding and Muslim migrants are pouring into Europe and the United States.” We, as pastors and patriots, must not only be on guard against the moral collapse of our nation, but the rising threat of radical Islamic factions. How will the Christian church in America meet this escalating challenge? Please see my very important message below – Mat. David, There were several disturbing reports about Egypt Tuesday. This one by Fox News… “As violence envelops Egypt, Christians are paying a heavy price with scores of their most sacred buildings and monuments being systematically destroyed by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in what one Coptic leader called an attempt at ethnic cleansing.” These events truly do qualify as a serious attempt at “ethnic cleansing” against Christians in Egypt… fueled by a Civil War… spawned by the Arab Spring… taken advantage of by the Muslim Brotherhood… supported by the United States of America’s pro-Islam foreign policy under the authority of President Barack Obama. Pat Buchanan issued this stern challenge to his readers to reflect on what is happening in Egypt… “And as the Jews have been expelled from the Arab world, today it is the turn of the Christians. They have seen priests murdered, churches torched and congregations massacred in Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and beyond, in Ethiopia and Nigeria — by extremists who cite the Quran for what they are doing. And after the Jews and Christians are gone, it is likely to be the turn of the Americans.... Millions of Muslims are willing to die to keep America and American values out of their societies.” We must face the fact that radical Islam has launched a campaign of intimidation and violent persecution until the Christian church is silent, irrelevant, or obliterated. This week, I am calling for American pastors and patriots to commit to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters in Egypt. In doing so, I believe honest men and women will be asking for God’s forgiveness for the United States of America’s complicity in their suffering. ++Is America radical Islam’s next frontier? If the events unfolding in Egypt, the Middle East, and Europe are any indication, in the decades to come America will face a radically changed religious demographic leading to Sharia influence on our laws, and the suppression of any anti-Muslim thought or action. New mosques are sprouting up everywhere across the United States. The embattled “Ground Zero Mosque,” renamed Park 51, is a planned 13 story Islamic mega-community center just on the edge of Ground Zero in New York City. Four thousand square feet of Park 51 have already opened. Now the developer has purchased adjacent buildings for potential “biggie” sizing. CBN News reports that Virginia Beach will soon be home to a new mosque, named the Crescent Community Center. And CBN further reports… “In neighboring Maryland, the government of Turkey is building a $100 million mega-mosque. The Turkish-American Culture and Civilization Center will cover 15 acres in the town of Lanham. Meanwhile, the Clarion Project reports that about 1,200 mosques are now operating in the U.S., and almost 80 percent of them were built within the last 12 years. The majority of those mosques are led by Wahhabi clerics – the same branch of Islam that Osama bin Laden followed.” As with bin Laden, in the minds of radical Muslims the overtaking of America isn’t a matter of “if” – but “when.” On September 11, a few weeks away, a “Million Muslim March” on Washington, D.C., is planned to coincide with the Twelfth anniversary of the Muslim terrorist attacks on our nation – and the one year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our consular facility in Benghazi, Libya. ++Pastors and patriots must rise up! We have allowed our elected representatives to literally undermine our nation. President Obama has once again placed himself on the wrong side of history by siding with Islamic zealots who would love for the “great Satan,” America, to be weakened, overthrown, and converted to Islam. The late Reverend Jerry Falwell wrote… “The withdrawal of faith-based citizens from the public square has emboldened the forces of darkness to declare that our values are no longer welcome. America has forgotten its biblical roots. Uncoupled from its biblical base, America has become a nation of uncurbed excesses.” The American church, pastors, and patriots must once again be relevant to our culture and engaged in the public square! Here’s how reverend Charles Finney, a key leader in the Second Great Awakening in the nineteenth century and “the father of modern revivalism,” said it… “If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in the halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.” David, God has called us for such a time as this.
