While the final crew of Creekside met for a celebratory drink last night I played this song as a tribute to not only those of us around the table, Dylan, Tyler, Mike, Karin, and Rebecca (in spirit), but to every single one of the other amazing and fabulous and wonderful and fantastic people who have ever worked behind the espresso machine and the book counter. I tried tagging all 70+ of you in this post but Facebook would not let me do more than 19 and, God knows, there were a hell of a lot more than that. From the bottom of my heart I want to say that Creekside has literally been my life since I first worked there in 2006 and through my time away in grad school and of course the time between 2009 and 2015. You will always be a part of my life, and will share a wonderful place of my memories! So thank you all! It has been one hell of a ride, the wonderful times, the memorable moments, the burnt muffins, the tons of chicken cut, the endless nights of music, DIckens, and despite the ups and downs and the chaos and the absolute madness of the place over the past 10 years that we wouldnt trade for anything else in the world, we all proved that we could be heroes....if just for one day!
