Why do you think monkeys don’t let the peanuts go off their fists, which would let their hands off the snare to freedom, and get caught at the hands of monkey-hunters for lifelong enslavement? The monkey’s self-image of perching high in the crown, munching on the fisted peanuts, has already enchained him before the hunter does. You must get over your self-image if it does not conform to your potential over against those of your competitors. Most of us cling to our ‘peanuts’ long enough to let the ‘monkey-hunter’ catch us. We don’t let our full potential blossom. We don’t let our mediocrity part with us. We refuse to grow from good to great.
