Why the hatred fellow Kenyans,we can all disagree on issues and how the country is run but we have to rise above the forray, for instance I dont agree with the notion thats being circumnavigated by Jubilee top brass alleging that Hon. Raila and cord were behind the Mpeketoni attacks, more so Kuria implication that Hon. Railas continued existence with fellow Kenyans will always hinder peace, (standard newspaper June 15)with due respect Mr. Kuria thats misleading above all it has no merits, nonetheless you are fully entitled to your views, but at this time its immature when we have Alshabaab claiming responsibility moreover the security agencies are still investigating, as Kenyans lets give the agencies a conducive environment to conduct their investigations, we might not trust them but lets give them the benefit of doubt and if they are lying the truth will always come out, we are the 21st century, the facts might seem to elude us but not for long; it will eventually come out, be it Cord, Alshabaab or the Government, the reality will be snare at them. There is no point of pitting hard working Kenyans who have lived in harmony to tear each other apart through social media, yet we exist as neighbors, our kids attend the same schools, churches we even intermarry, in all we cross paths in all aspect if not everyday. Otieno, Kamau, Kiplagat, Okemwo, Najib, Mutua, Ntombura, Saitoti, Zainabu, Onyancha, Wamalwa, Taita, Mijikenda and so forth please let us remember we are building a better Kenya not only for us but most notably for our future generation, our mark is almost ending and what shall we have to account for, or should we rather start a fresh generation after generation? as for Kamau I know for sure Mr. Kuria doesnt put food on your dinning table, with the rising sun you have to fend for yourself, your family as well as dependents applying your expertise be it accounting, construction, driving, nursing, teaching, farming, fishing, hawking, anchoring, the list goes on and on, the same applies to Otieno; Mr. Orengo doesnt feed your family every rising sun you have to venture just like Kamau, Isabwa, Kemunto, Najib, Bitok and any other Kenyan. Unto Mr. Kuria please you are a leader and when you openly say that Hon. Raila roaming Kenya, we wont have peace, your statement is baseless and out of proportion if not true. Please be it known that the likes of Hon. Raila, Mr. Shikuku, Mr. Wamwere, Mr.Muite & Mr. Orengo just to name a few, fought so hard for the democracy, the same platform you seek and stand on while implying that Hon. Raila perpetrated Mpeketoni attacks, this claim Mr. Kuria is unfounded and to all those who believe that Cord was behind this, I personally disagree and so is a majority Kenyans, while louding my disagreement I will not stoop to the current trend, if you believe that cord was behind it I will give you the benefit of doubt to prove it, if you cannot then you will be the laughing stock. Spitting Insults is not only overrated but filled with hatred. Fellow Kenyans please lets adopt this form disagreement as opposed to the current indignity that hauls barbs into social media which in turn spew into our neighborhood hence ethnic violence. Mr Kuria I can understand your accusation that Hon. Raila has polarized the country, however you are omitting or rather ignoring genuine facts that the government did polarize the country long before Hon. Railas return, in fact your claim is just coincidental, nonetheless Hon.Raila is just an icing on the cake. Mr Kuria, if I may ask, who is to blame on the rising cost of food, transport, cases of insecurity, unequal employment and many more? be it known that a cross section of Kenya believes that Hon. Raila is keeping the Government on check in regards to its promises made to the citizens of Kenya not to mention the few specs of corruption, with a weak opposition Hon. Raila is the only hope for the few Kenyans. So Mr Kuria and others who feel Raila is to blame on the current situation in Kenya, youve got it all wrong, Hon. Raila is just a channel where discontented Kenyans tunes to when they have no other option or rather when the Government is not addressing their pressing needs, bear in mind three quarters of the sitting Government is full of Jubilee thus no strong opposition, factored with this is the human nature to pick a leader who has shown similar interest in the past. Based on the atop statement we know Raila has been the peoples voice and choice since retired President Mois era and thats the more reason Kenyans of all walks resonate with him in times like this. Mr Kuria and many more who think Hon. Raila is up to grab power through the back door arent Ill advised in my view its a calculated rhetoric to avert the real issues at hand, the past election might have been tainted but He accepted the outcome for the sake of Kenyans; like the saying goes, there comes a time when collective interest surpasses an individual interest, and yes Hon. Raila did pass this test. Mr Kuria last but not least they say like Father like Son, Raila while growing up was under the wing of the late great Jaramogi who also ardently fought for equality amidst the oppressed, both in late President Mzee Kenyatta and retired President Mois era.Through history backtrack we concur that Jaramogi declined the Premiership title offered by the imperialist which would have made him the first President by default, conversely as a noble man who was not self centered He declined and settled on or rather enlisted the late President Mzee Kenyatta, Jaramogi viewed Kenyatta as a true Kenyan hero, he didnt even think twice that Mzee is a Kikuyu, in Jaramogis eye he was a Kenyan and thats who we were then, now and will be, unto Mr Kuria and all others, Hon. Raila follows his fathers footstep and he is for the betterment of Kenya, moreover being a president is not the only prerequisite to better your country, patriotism is all thats needed, Jaramogi proved that and Hon. Raila wants nothing sort of that. As for Saba Saba, nothing is wrong as long as the issues at stake are discussed peacefully, freedom of gathering is accorded in our constitution, lest we forget the freedom we so enjoy today emanated from Saba Saba. Unto all Kenyans of all walks we are headed in the right direction if not for the hatred thats filled in us. while watching President Uhuru speech it made me believe that only Kikuyus were targeted, for a millisecond I was blaming coastal leaders thinking it was all about land but then when the facts came out I realized He, the president was wrong or rather misguided, if I was a Kikuyu I would have been ready to retaliate ; lesson learned hasty judgement without facts can easily invoke hate we are just humans. My words to fellow Kenyans, please just like accountants lets measure and analyze the source before putting things in their right perspective and while doing this lets be prudent , hatred leads to fighting which will never solve our problems, our voice in unison will always be stronger, should you choose Saba Saba kindly please make your voices heard and not through fighting nor looting but via your talisman, because all of us cant be heard while speaking at the same time thats always a recipe for disaster not unless it a song, lets emulate from our churches. My other plea is to the chief inspector of police, should Kenyans so choose to loud their voices, their safety is paramount and as the head of police kindly accord Kenyans security; they need it now more than ever, even more owing to the past few months of insecurity, in the end it will repair the already tarnished image .Unto the President and the sitting Government, Saba Saba is not a threat, its all about addressing the countrys most pressing issues as it stands Kenyans of all walks are hurting, from high cost of living, healthcare, insecurity, unemployment and bad image so be wary and take corrective measures in the end what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that the people preserve the spirit, as an accountant I call it a trial balance. Kudos unto all Kenyans as we solve the issues at hand amicably .
