With a marvelously thick body and massive head (typically plastered with a correspondingly enormous grin) Maximus is certainly appropriately named. He is a super handsome guy and he loves his people. He is hanging out waiting to give a big hug to anyone who will come to visit. I had the chance to take him out on a walk today and I was surprised how well-behaved he was. He was very excited at the start of the walk, bouncy and wiggly, but just 50 yards down the road he had settled down into a nice slow walking pace. Max will need an owner accustomed to strong dogs because with his mass and low center of gravity he could easily pull over an unprepared walker if he decided to go in a certain direction, but he was not pulling at all on the lead while we were walking. Max is so cute when he is getting petted or giving hugs, he gets excited and grunts and snorts like a pig. If you are in need of maximum loving from a beautiful big lug please consider Maximus.
