With the final weekend to come the finalists of this years Da Vinci 2 Wood Trips are still very much in the balance. With the top team in each of the two sections due to meet in the final on 6 July, Section A sees just two teams in the running. Ian Schipper leads Tony dos Ramos by two points so that will go down to the last skin in the last of the two matches they will each play this coming Saturday. Grant Dreyer is a further 4 adrift, so theoretically he could cause a surprise but it will depend on who each of the teams has to play on Saturday. In Section B three teams are within 2 points of each other. Boonzaaier leads on 35 by one from Dinkelspiel with Shear a further one point further back. With a maximum of 12 points in the offering for each team next Saturday there could be some movement in the log, and with former winner Sandra Colombick a further four adrift, there is a mathematical chance that her trip could sneak in on the far rail unnoticed.
