Worlds SMALLEST Workshop?? Random idea- Im still trying to raise funds for our Cub Scout packs budget (for events, camping, etc), and we have quite a ways to go. Im heading up a cabin build fundraiser (which well auction off- 100% goes to the den I lead, and the pack overall), but Im contemplating (which Ive done before) on doing a super-intimate, fun, hands-on day in my workshop setting (wed build something- start a cabin, etc) with just 4-5 students/guests ONLY- lunch included, materials, some door-prizes/giveaways (books and tools to take home), tours of cabins of mine, a salvage demo, and Id probably rope my brother into it… ALL proceeds would go to the Cub Scouts… A FULL, LOOOONG day in early November… Any interest? Maybe $300 a head, as its all for a fundraiser, and about as hands-on as it gets. Just an idea… we could work on some wild artwork and other things too… pallet chairs that you could take home… maybe bring in another guest builder or speaker… at least a 12 hour day- culminating in a campfire hang-out….
