Wow, where has time gone? A little over two years ago I walked into an empty building with Eddie Wimbleton and heard his dream of putting a Great Canadian Dollar Store in St. Johns. It was then the journey began to see his dream fulfilled! As today is my last day as manager of this store, I would like to publicly thank him for the opportunity of working in this business. I would also like to thank the staff, some have come and gone, some have been with us from the beginning...it is because of your hard work and warm, friendly smiles that we hear customers say time and time again, I love this dollar store and awesome customer service. And last but not least, you, the customers...I will dearly miss the relationships I have built with the regulars and it never ceases to amaze me that even after two years we still hear new customers say, first time in this store, must say you have a beautiful store here. I wish staff and customers alike a very Merry Christmas and to Wimbletons Enterprises, a very prosperous New Year! As for me, it was not an easy decision leaving but I am ready for a new chapter in life...lol, at the regular customer yesterday, who could not understand why I was leaving. To everyone, take time to love and appreciate the good things in life...family, friends, bosses, staff, and customers. And take time to shop The Great Canadian Dollar Store, 27 Elizabeth Ave.!!
