Wrote this to someone tonight figured I share it with all . Here is what i did to loss my weight since 3/2012 i lost 135 lbs and after 3 months got off all med. I started on by eating 40% fruits 40 % veggies (half raw and half cooked) 20 % what every . This is the lifestyle that Joel Furhman promotes in his book EAT TO LIVE . Very shortly that 20 % got smaller and smaller and went days with no animal products at all . Since august i have not eaten any meats the only animal products i consume are in an occasional pc of cake or cookie . My goal for 2014 is to be 100 % vegan Diets dont work you need to look at weight loss as a life style change. The more live plant based foods you eat less room for unhealthy foods. There is a ton of resource out there on you tube and the internet . Look for people who look healthy there are a lot of so called health experts who are not in the best shape . great resource that changed my life Movies FORKS OVER KNIVES FAT SICK AND NEARLY DEAD BOOKS EAT TO LIVE JOEL FURHMAN WHOLE DR COLIN CAMPBELL THE STARCH SOLUTION DR JOHN MCDOUGHAL DR NEAL BERNARD HAS GREAT BOOKS ALSO HIT YOU TUBE WITH ANY OF THESE NAME AND U WILL FIND A WEALTH OF GREAT TALKS We all need to look at our own situation and lifestyle and decide what works best. What works best for one might not be good for someone else . But eliminating sodas process food and eating more live food fruits and veggies will help all . Hope that helps If i can do it you can too
