Let me be clear, while its appreciated by those involved, when police handle issues like rape, and murder, we Dont need them using the Good shit they do to Justify the Bad shit they do. They are Not a political party, with a set of bullshit we have to 100% agree with to be a part of, no, they are civil Servants. They do Not make the laws for Us, We make Our Own laws, and They are to ensure those arent broken, and Be Subject To those laws. Right now, by and large, were seeing one set of rules for us, and another set for them, and this is unacceptable. Im sorry, but you dont get to justify something like, oh say, tazing a 9 year old in the head, just because you stopped a burglary. Sorry, doesnt work that way. There are rules, some shit, some decent, but All are supposed to be subject to them, not just those of us who Arent cops.
