Yes we truly were the Nearly gang yesterday! My team consisting of Shiela, Sylvia and Jim and Myself of course managed to match the winning team score but sadly lost out by virtue of the lowest handicap rule! Poor Jim Rogers who played like a golf pro for half his round also matched the top individual score of 36 only to lose out by virtue of.... yep the handicap rule again! However on the up side? Shiela lost out on the handicap rule but to a fellow SAS girl so well done Sylvia and unlucky Shiela. The day itself in support of the Royal British Legion was a fantastic success and we look forward to hearing about how much money was raised as well as how it all worked? Well done to all who organised the day, you truly did a great job. And finally The Irish Auction or heads and tails? Yep you guessed it, I nearly won that as well! We also nearly bought a distance view finder but happily we managed to bump the price up to a good level he he!!
