Yesterday in Jerusalem, we, the Jewish people, lost 4 holy Jewish men in a brutal attack while they were praying to G-d while wearing Tefillin. They left behind 4 special widows, & 24 Jewish orphans. I am proposing the following to our JET Campus & JET YP participants: We need 4 men to take upon themselves to try to put on tefillin twice a week to fill the spiritual void. (We will help defray the cost of tefillin if you do not have a pair) We need 4 women to take upon themselves to try to light Shabbos candles every week to show support for the widows. We need 24 participants of either gender to agree to learn the laws of Honoring Your Parents to support the orphans that will be taught by me&/or another JET staff member either by phone conference or online or in person once a month.
