Yesterday, three of us who met in the past were gisting and we talked about verbal abuse and physical abuse in marriage and considered which was worse. We agreed that physical abuse was on the skin but verbal abuse cut through right through to the soul to the whole fabric of your system. Verbal abuse will cut deep into your heart and devastate every system and eventually give you this inferiority complex that is unassailable. Are we then saying that any of the abuse was right? No. Anything aimed at destabilizing, humiliating and maiming another was not worth it. As the gist progresses, names of people we commonly know going through abuse cropped up. Some are deformed physically as a result; a lady who cant walk properly, a lady with a bent 2nd finger etc. We came to a conclusion, some of these men are mentally unstable and need to go for psychological evaluation. But them go gree say something dey do them?
