Yesterday was my day to take Lucy to Pittsburgh for her dressing changes. I was very concerned because the dressings were starting to smell gross. The wound looks very good and we may not have to do a graft. The most likely scenario will be weekly trips to Pitts until we know if she will need a graft. She s such a good girl. The doctors are very pleased with her progress. She is gaining more strength but she still has trouble walking with the dressings on her left leg. The drive is not too bad. I stop at Deans diner to get supper and their fantastic pie.on the way home. Well, it is snowing and I am not pleased. I have to find the pups coats and sweaters. I am still sleeping in the TV room. I got a new sofa and chair for the TV room but the sofa is not big enough for me and the pups to sleep on so I am still on the floor on the airbed. It is cramped but cozy and we all fit. I love cuddling with my pups. I got the pups new beds and got a terrific deal. I belong to Amazon prime and got $200 dollar beds for $79 and they are the largest made and they are made from memory foam. They came stuffed in boxes so they are sitting to regain their shape. The directions says it takes about 24 hours then I will put their covers on. They also have water proof covers. I am sure the pups with love them. Well, I am going to get the pups out for their last pee before we go to bed.
