Yesterday was one of the best ever in Vallarta filled with fun. After early coaching clients, I was off to get my hair done. Then nails done for the first time here in Vallarta. What a treat. And BREAKING NEWS, I drove home in our new CR-V Honda! In 19 years, I had never driven here, Watch out now, oh cobblestoned streets. We finally are saying good bye the the Beamer and hello to a reliable SUV that can be serviced here in Vallarta. YEAH! Then off with buddy Kelly Nelson for a margarita before a walk through food vendors market to the Festival de Virgin of Guadeloupe. There were many costumed virgins in the parade! Seeing los ninos (children) dressed up in all their glory was a delight. Bands, dancers and happy people everywhere. And my first McDonalds vanilla ice cream in an oreo cone. In the evening, we were off to walk the Malecon and see the Christmas decorations, complete with a visit with Santa to thank him for blessing me with joy. Thanks to my massage therapist, lovely Tatjana Haas for telling me I could not miss this pageant. Sweet!
