Yesterday was pretty good. No ice packs, no pain killers, and was even able to do some stitching. Today, not great. Bumpy bus ride to the metro took me to pain level 8. Each stop on the metro was ouch. One block walk to the post surgical appointment would have been fine if I werent in ouch mode. He said Im healing up just fine now and then gave me some false hope . Then I got to pet a therapy cat. That cat was huge! It was a 25 lb light colored long hair cat. Luckily Tabitha was able to pick me up there and drive me to the next appointment. Size wise, the tumor was only 1 millimeter into stage 2a cancer because of no lymph node involvement. But pathology said its much worse and put me in stage 3 cancer. I am still in pain from this morning and decided to take a pain killer and forgo my nightly walk today. Chemo starts in about 3 weeks. Yay?
