Yesterday was such a great day. My good friends Ruben Dobbs and Joey Mitchell of Swampcandy drove out the next day after their show at the Pawling Tavern to Childrens Medical Center in Hartford CT to pay a visit and surprise my lil nephew Caleb who is battling AML Leukemia. Caleb was so excited to have 2 amazing touring musicians take time out of their tour to come in and meet him. I had Caleb play Ruben and Joey some of his songs, they were very impressed with Calebs ability to write strong songs, his rhythm and how he can pick up a song quickly from listening once. Thank you Ruben and Joey, not only are you great friends of mine but class acts! : ) After Calebs visit I traveled to Fall River and performed for a great crowd at Red Cedar. Sold a bunch of CDs to raie money for Caleb, huge thanks to my friends who I had the opportunity of meeting at my last show in Fall River, Mathieu Pilotte and Janet Pratt Pilotte for your beautiful donation for Caleb, it was so great to see you at another show, tell your son thank you as well, he is a great kid, reminded me of Caleb with his passion for sports!
