You cant afford to miss any opportunity to align yourself with the will of God. Statements like, Child whatever you ask God he will do it!! Not so!! It says if we ask anything according to his WILL!(1 John 5:14) Your agenda comes secondary to his agenda which is his will. Then some say,Well if you delight in him, his word says he will give you the desires of your heart right(Psalm 37:4)? Yes it does. Note the requirement to delight in him. His word says that if you love me, keep my commandments(John 14:15). If you keep his commands your desires will not contradict his will. Jesus lays out the structure for prayer in that he says, Thy will be done. We ask Jesus for things in prayer and if His will is the first priority then our asking should be kingdom minded. Our God is holy and his whole existence is holy(1 Peter 1:16). Therefore your desires must be holy in intent, holy in the effect of the manifestation(natural aspect), and holy in the spiritual aspect. God is not and never will be your genie in a bottle that operates outside his superior domain nor is he the author of confusion. God bless.
