You know what?? I look at Trigger and just burst with love more and more each day. I love all my dogs dearly but for Trigger i know how truly awful his past was. We had the misfortune of coming face to face with his past.....which was very scarey for us let alone him........and in his daily actions (cowering, scars etc) it is obvious what this wonderful lad endured. The 1st time i met him i was dropping a dog off at the pound who we had taken out for the day..........i walked past Triggers enclosure and said hello as he caught my eye...............he showed me his teeth and and growled.................scarey?? Hmmm maybe but i could see how flippin scared he was The following week we went to say goodbye to the dog we had taken out the week before as he had a home.................so we took Luna as she liked him.......decided to get Trigger out and give him a walk with the Loon!!...........Went to his enclosure...............he was very wary..............lead on........off we go.............and there ya have it................he slotted in perfect with Luna..............no aggression .............took him home to meet the boys..............slotted in (which was amazing as the boys are fussy buggers). Trigger always looks at us with real love in his eyes and the more he lives with our gang...........the more he leaves behind of that shitty abusive life he had before.............he is truly amazing and we are privileged to have him with us No hug i give him ever seems tight enough...........if that makes sense? x
