You know when life puts someone on your path that just inspires the heck out of you? This young lady is it. Theres a reason Ashley Bergeron is doing a lot of speaking and inspiring these days, not the least is which the wisdom of the positive flip where she talks about mental wellness instead of mental illness or mental health. It goes a long way to unpacking the baggage that comes with those terms, and connecting to the heart of what works, and how to scale it up. Tonight is the 3rd time our paths have crossed this week. The first was when Jacques Berge of the Windsor Power Group shared this video with me, Ashleys first vlog as she starts to share her journey. When you meet this girl in person you just know shes going to move mountains. I had the pleasure of finally meeting her on Wednesday at the Power Group meeting, and then again tonight serendipitously when she was leaving another meeting and walking by the one I was speaking at. She made the time to come in and join us, and Im glad she did, because each chance I get to have a bit more of a glimpse into the way she connects with people and the message she shares the more Im convinced shes going to be a real changemaker. Kudos, Ashley, for your tremendous courage and heart. You are a gift
