You would think by now that the bought and paid for media would understand the nuances of Obama administration speak (I used a small a because they are JV). The study group on the militarization of local police departments (PDs) is an attempt to transfer the HealthCare.gov personnel (now that its working so well) to DHS so they can spend billions of dollars building a data base and IT network to track each tank, gun, bullet, tear gas canister, etc., from cradle to grave (pun intended; something DOD has been unable to do since Christ was a Corporal). At least a third of the gun tooting law enforcement officers (LEOs) will be replaced by an army of accountants and supply clerks at the local levels to keep the system(s) up to date (States may opt out of the federal system to develop their own systems). Info such as when each bullet was purchased (by federal grant), by whom, where it is located, when it was used, by whom, for what purpose and under what authority, what were the expected outcomes vice actual outcomes, metrics, etc., will be accumulated and analyzed so voluminous reports can be prepared which no one will read, but will be used as justification to create a whole new division of government, the Committee to Respond to Administrative Proceedings Or Legal Actions (CRAPOLA) which will be staffed by folks hired under the Americans With No Abilities Act (see: snopes/politics/satire/noabilities.asp). CRAPOLA will eventually surpass organizations such as the TSA in resources, and once again prove that our government is useless and totally out of control. As a secondary benefit, it will also provide fodder for folks like the Rev Al Sharpton to protest against despite the facts that the reports coming out of the systems are inaccurate and misleading (facts are irrelevant in his world). The PDs will be filled by blacks and other minorities, and women until all diversity/affirmative action objectives are met. Its the only way for many of them to get into the PDs since many of them cant be LEOs due to felony convictions, not having a college degree in criminal justice (or GED for that matter), or an inability to pass the psych eval, etc. A side benefit for the DOJ AG Holder and the POTUS is that less cops on the street equals less crime and less shootings by cops because they cant/wont arrest people and therefore the reported crime rates go down and they can once again claim a successful victory. (As witnessed these past days with Capt Ron Johnsons statements in Ferguson, MO. Things like throwing urine on LEOs, dangling your young child out the window of a moving vehicle, sitting on the hood of a moving vehicle, looting, etc., are not crimes if the folks arent arrested.) We owe a great deal of debt to President Obama for coming up with such great ideas while the rest of world goes to hell. His ability to multi-task will save the world for generations (NOT)!?!
