Your Way or Gods way - Paul The Lords delight above all things is to deliver His people; He rejoices in their freedom. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of freedom - where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. Him who the Son sets free is free indeed. But true freedom cannot be discovered or experienced anywhere else outside of Gods presence. When we seek our own will in all things we invariably strengthen independence, pride and rebellion, and paradoxically end up enslaved. We all desire freedom, but freedom is not found in ALL THINGS. Sin can be fun and provide some pleasure, but sin will always result in death, depression and despair because sin contains the seeds that lead the soul into perfect enslavement. Such is the PATH of seeking life and fulfilment outside of God. But there is no life outside of the presence of God; for outside of God there is only disappointment, treachery, lies, death, despair and nothingness.
