Yvonne: mom can i go to the beach with my friends..they will pick me up. Me: i.thought we were going to watch a movie? Yvonne: umm no..i want to go out with friends. They invited me. When i come home we will. Me: Ok..thats fine..who you going with and what time are you coming home? Yvonne: ill call you and tell you. Just friends from school Me: ( hesitating) hmm ok. Becareful. Get a text saying she will be home at 10pm. 10:01 comes around..and im thinking where is this girl at?! i give 5 more mins and i tell her dad to call that number she texts from. Goes to voice mail. I say GIVE ME THE NUMBER 😠..Ill be blowing up that phone. I call and i get an answer and i say wheres yvonne? I think i scared her friend.😜 She gets on the phone and says im at mcdonalds and ill be home. ohh a sense of relief. I guess i worry when it comes to my kids. its just my nature. sometimes a lil over protective, but at one point got to let go as they become of age. But i will always worry..i was a teen once and yea..thats what worrys me. 😊
