Zoe the Seed at The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music on Wednesday 28 August 2013 at 18:00 Print The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music is proud to present Swazi born vocalist, Zoe the Seed on Wednesday 28 August 2013 at 18:00. Zoe holds a B-Prac in Jazz and Popular Music from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is currently working as the voice coach at the BatCentre. Zoe has performed with numerous Durban based bands, Unlocked Keys, Deep Breath and she was also the drummer and one of the vocalists for SAMA 17 best contemporary jazz nominees Heels over Head. Her experience has led her to performing in places like ICC, Hazelmere Dam, Durban July, Howard College Theatre, cruise ships and many others. Come and enjoy the Afro jazz sounds of Zoe the seed. She will be joined by her band Nathi Zungu (piano), Ildo Nandja (bass), Sphelelo Mazibuko (drums) and Mxolisi Mdlalose (tenor) at The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music (CJPM), Level 2, Shepstone Building at UKZN Howard College Campus at 18:00 (Doors open at 17:30) Wednesday 28 August 2013. Doors open at 17:30 and music starts at 18:00 Entry fee is R35 (Pensioners R20 and students R10)
