after some advice please I have had my plot about 6 months and have worked really hard setting it out and slowly removing marestail. But unfortunately due to starting chemotherapy I have been advised not to work my plot due to risk of infection and fatigue. So it looks like I wont be able to work my plot ntil next autumn at the earliest. So I was wondering - what advice do people have to prevent it turning back into an overgrown wilderness of weeds! I have about half of it covered over with polythene, but had managed to completely clear about a third, and planted up winter veg, fruit bushes etc. While people are very kind and helpful, I cant expect anybody to keep digging over empty ground or maintaining my fruit cage to prevent the re-emergence of mares tail! thank you in advance
