...and now for some recent goings on at the Presque Isle Police Department - An intoxicated gentleman (as you all know by now, we throw that term around rather loosely here) was wondering around a local campus creating worry and discontent among local residents and campus staff. He continued to evade the staff and when PIPD showed up, he ditched us a couple of times. We found him a short while later...he took his shirt off in an attempt to trick us into believing he wasnt the guy we were looking for (fortunately for the residents of Presque Isle, we at the PD are not so easily fooled!!)...however, our stellar cop senses kicked in when he was found drinking from his bottle of vodka and nursing an injured leg received when he stumbled into a stream just prior to our arrival! I understand he sobered right up after hitting that cold water! in other news, a local motel manager called us to remove the couple in their parking lot exploring the limits of their carnal knowledge at about 2 p.m.!! Come on people, you were right there - GET A ROOM!! BTW, they were still going at it when we arrived. We have had our fair share of assaults and petty arguments over the course of the past few weeks...go easy on each other and count to ten when your crazy uncle starts to wear you down! Weve also had a variety of thefts from unsecured vehicles, this happens every year, please lock your cars up when you exit them, dont become a victim through a self-inflicted mistakes. It looks like the weather may not cooperate tomorrow, but if it does, we will be having our Friday Night Movie in the Park. I will get back to you all tomorrow with the weather report and likelihood of showing the movie...as you may recall we were going to show Crocodile Dundee last week, well this week I cant find my Crocodile Dundee movie...either the dog ate it or I had one heck of a dream that I owned it...in any event, its not there! Next up for Friday night is another Aussie based show called Kangaroo Jack, a comical adventure for the whole family...stay tuned for an update tomorrow. Happy birthday to for President George H.W.
