apple/live Might as well make a fool of myself. My Apple event predictions: 1. iOS 8 (duh) 2. 10.10 Yosemite (duh) 3. New iPhone. Maybe a bigger model, but I still wouldnt bank on that. 4. A wearable. Call it a watch if you must, but itll be more of a fitness tracker, home automation device, and potentially a NFC device for commerce. Itll integrate with your phone, but can also be a stand alone device. 5. Something no one has been expecting. 6. U2. Thats it. I could do sub-predictions, like I am betting the iPhone 6 will indeed support NFC, but essentially the iPhone 6 will be much like the 5s and pundits will hate it and people will buy the shit out of it. I honestly doubt they will spend much time on either OS, since they did that at WWDC. Number 5 seems like a cheat, but Cook has promised new product categories (plural) in 2014. This is where they are going to be announced. What you wont see: 1. No new announcements on already existing hardware other than the iPhone (no no mini, no iMac, no TB 2 display, no Apple TV). 2. No mention of new iPads. (This one could be way wrong, but I think were at a point where these will just come out without fanfare). 3. U2.
