as many of you might know my child was served detention papers for a logo infraction at school.. long story short she was not required to serve the detention.. but it still raised for at least a lot of issues.. why is right for my child to be punished for my choices.. using this logic every time an employee messed up there boss would be fired, with no consequence on the employee.. at my childrens school if i to not sign there daily log.. they lose grade points.. WHAT !! again my choice not theirs .. i signed my kids uo for school online before the the last school year ended.. because I completed this they received a reward.. so wrong to the other children who are paying for their parents choices.. recently a parent told me that she was unable to register her child for school because of an overdue book.. that to me is crazy .. yes their should consequences and rewards .. but they should be directed properly .. I believe that these policies need to be changed and some not even in practice. the school needs to come up with a county wide dress code not open to committee or interpretation .. notify the parents if the child is not following the code and give them at least the opportunity to correct the problem.the lowerig a kids grade for an unsigned notebook is just ..ridiculous .. you cant force a parent to take an interest and by doing so if they dont comply you only hurt a already hurting child.. wheres the the logic in that. parents should parent schools should teach. and yes the school should get there borrowed items return or paid for, but holding up a kids education.. the very thing.. your in place for.. give me a break !!! if we all just sit back and voice or opinions to one another no change will happen and we all will suffer. so what would like to do is write the mobile county school board or petition them for some real change, rules that make sense. if you want to be heard or have a point to you believe needs made please join me ..and i will include all concerns.. if enough of us speak up they will be forced to listen.. please feel free to share this post.. i will be sharing this post with them so please also feel free to comment but be respectful..
