Citizens and businesses are asked to make contributions to the project, which will bring a new form of public art to our area. Several contributors have already come forward, but more community and business support is needed to reach our funding goal. A fundraising dinner show will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 6:00pm at the Chimbole Cultural Center. Tickets are $50 single/$95 couple. Dinner, entertainment, basket raffle and an auction will be provided. Tax deductible donations may be made online at cityofpalmdale.org/foundation/donate.asp (select Larry Chimbole Statue) or sent to Palmdale Community Foundation, 38300 Sierra Highway, Palmdale, CA 93550. Donations should be made payable to Palmdale Community Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 established in 1997 by the Palmdale City Council to allow donations to be made for City programs.
