b-b-b-b-before bed poem Fallen Tree for those people who need a little inspiration. Its not a night for salty tears Your small, young man of only few years Let the happiness flow not the dread Stop negativity from spinning its toxic web Do not let the sky fall down tonight Be a candle, a lantern shining bright white light let your pearly smile come in with tide watch pain drift out as you wave goodbye Stand back from the waters look out over the shore See the waves pound the beach with a resounding roar A drumstick beating, each moment on the sand slowly but surely wearing down the land A metaphor of life this beach shall be The same as the houses and the trees Each working its way to an eventual end Trying to find where its own road bends So young man I implore of you today Keep your eyes on the prize do not let them stray Look for your dreams among starry clouds Possibilities are limitless you cannot be held down All that stops you, is lodged in your head Stop worrying about the eventual end Not far in the future that day will arrive And I pray young man you are ready to die One day you will lay, old in your bead And ask yourself one question, Are you ready to be dead Can you say with certainty you would lay down your head If that is where tomorrow lead. So before you drift back out into the sea Before you become but another fallen tree Make sure you are satisfied with your own journey Because if not it will haunt you, forever in your dreams.
