...but someones missing. We have had CU artists post awesome art lately of CU characters, and some like Richard have even gone so far as to include as many CU characters as possible. Ultimately, however - inevitably - someone is going to say ...but someones missing. When you say that, you make the artist feel guilty. The artists didnt intend to leave anyone out, but due to time constraints, they cant always include everyone. Plus, they cant make a crowded piece of art each and every single time they put in the work to make art of CU characters. Not only that, its kind of an ungrateful shot to the gut to someone who did their work for free and out of the goodness of their heart - and out of love of participating in the CU camaraderie and sense of fellowship. Im not going to point fingers or say to anyone dont do that, because I dont think those who say ...but someones missing meant any harm, it just comes out sounding ungrateful for the work that the artist put in making their awesome artwork. I hope I dont anger anyone, because Im not trying to upset anyone. I just want us all to be more appreciative of the artists who do these wonderful artworks, so that other artists might be more willing to make their own CU hero artworks. So if your character didnt get included this time, then dont fret, and dont make the artists feel guilty about it. If you participate in group discussions, and especially if you join in on my CU Crossover Madness events, then your time will come. Also, please remember that CU is still a very young group - not even a year old yet - so were still feeling our way around in learning how to be the best independent comic creators group out there. So patience, my friends. Given time and dedication, well work out a way to get these works rotated out so that everyones character gets their chance to appear in a CU crossover artwork.
