gets asked for advice on working out, losing weight and eating healthy almost every day. I love helping people. My answer to most people is almost always the same: download and use MyFitnessPal. Understand your body and how much food it actually needs every day. Then log in the foods. Simply dont eat more than you should. Even without an app to track foods you can start by simply eating less of the foods you already enjoy. Make a commitment to just not finish everything. Who cares if you already paid for it!? Another tip: drink a full 8 oz of water before each meal. Fill yourself up a little so you will be too full to finish the Big Mac and you will be hydrated!! Got to the store and buy carrots and celery. Immediately chop then up and put them in a container in the fridge. That way when you feel that snack hunger you will have them available immediately. As for exercise: start with simple stuff at home. Jumping jacks, push ups. Running around the block once. Start easy. Burn a few calories. Get on the scale every Monday morning. Know the number. Hate the number. Reduce the number. There is no need to start big and set yourself up for failure. Before you buy a bunch of health food, workout clothes and a gym membership accomplish something. Feel good about yourself. Be proud to get on the scale and see at least one pound gone for good.
