i remember when my kids were in their teens wondering how my mom and dad ever made it with 4 kids, and how my grandparents did it with 14 kids or my dads mom with 9 kids. It sure wasnt easy at times, but it is truely funny how you can remember most of the good times and funny things and sayings and block out most of the bad times. They didnt have tv or computers or cell phones to entertain the kids, the kids had to help around the house or farms. we worked from the time we were old enough to carry a stick. even if it was just picking up after ours selves or others or trying to wash a dish. we all seem to know what was expected of us and if we couldnt do it or reach something the older ones came to help. then the real fun times, family time playing board games or relay races, basketball, baseball, football and best of all swimming in the creeks and picnics. And 4H was really fun too. going to others houses for meetings and games. then the youth group at church or GAs at church. i loved them all. always a new experience or some missionery coming to our church to talk to us about their adventures and teachings. showing pictures of people they have met and things that they use in their daily lives. sometimes we even got to try some of the foods they ate. yes i think i had a fantastic childhood, but like most things in life as you go through it you have to have an open mind and want to learn more. My parents and grandparents had it rougher than i did, but my memories of how wonderful they were fill my heart with so many blessings. I am blessed to have them, my aunts and uncles and cousins of course my siblings (i love you)and all my inlaws (you are the best)and friends. my family is growig more everyday and sometimes i wonder if they all know just how special everyone is to me. So to all of you my family, friends and everyone i wish you the best day, and just know I love you and GOD loves you
