in response to melors alloys pieces. This pottery is not your average black gloss ancient greek pot. it is coated in powdered sintered aluminum metallurgy ceramics. sintered at 925 degrees with a complex carbon and steam , it becomes a aluminum carboloid. the fluxing action of the complex carbons brings the sintering point down considerably. Archaeochemist , dont wish to even know this exists. So who came up with this combination of materials . i think the assyrian glass makers did they used frankinsense and myrrh to create some wonderful colours. O! and if you think this is copper dont i had a big falling out with my lecturers over that one. you can also find this colouration in semi conductor quartz.
